Born on the resource planet, Nextuus, Randall grew up in quiet surroundings on a sept farm (septs being a root-like vegetable). Because of his exposure to the raw plant for much of his life, his hair gained it’s strong, green pigmentation. As a young man, Randall became a cybernetics apprentice, but soon left his family and schooling behind to travel the world and seek his fortune.

At the start of our story, Lockheed’s treasure-hunting business has been all but dead for months. Forced to live in his plane and borrow money from the local airport’s manager, Randall is desparate for a job. When he is promised the biggest job of his career- and the biggest payout of his life- Randall jumps at the opportunity and works to build up his team once again.
